CBSE Board 10th Results 2016: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will today declare the CBSE Class 10th (X) Board Exam Results 2016 at 2.00 pm,
This year, 14,99,122 students, including 8,92,685 boys and 6,06,437 girls, from 15,309 schools registered for CBSE Class 10 examination. The pass percentage of Class 10 students in 2015 was 97.32 last year.
The students who opted for board-based scheme appeared for the examination between March 1 and March 28.
As per previous years, this year also the CBSE is hosting its result on net with the technical support of National Informatics Centre (NIC), Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
There were 2,860 differently-abled students who registered this year. Depending on their abilities, the education board made special provisions to facilitate their appearance in the examination.
These provisions included granting extra time to students or allowing them to avail the help of a scribe or adult prompter.
Students can follow these steps to check the CBSE 10th Results 2016 -

The Central Board of Secondary education was formed on Nov 3, 1952. The CBSE board conducts the Class 10 (X) and Class 12 (XII) examinations every year in the month of March. The board also conducts AIEEE entrance exam & AIPMT annually every year. This year, over 5.5 lakh students appeared for the examination. The results have been delayed multiple times over the last one week leading to a lot of confusion among students and fake media reports about the exam result dates.
How to check the results:
In order to check the results, the candidates should visit the official website and click on the link, 'BSEB Arts Stream 2016'. Thereafter, the candidates should enter their roll number. After submitting the same, the results will appear on the screen. The candidates must take a printout for future use.
How to get the results on mobile:
To get the BSES intermediate result 2016 (arts) on mobile, you can send an SMS in the following format to 56263: BH12<space>ROLLCODE + ROLL NO.
For example, if your Roll Code is 1101 & Roll Number is 00001, then you must type an SMS- BIH12 1100100001 and send this SMS to 56263.

Girls outclassed boys as Sukriti Gupta of Delhi and Palak Goyal of Haryana bagged the first and second positions in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class 12 results declared on May 21.
